Doormate comes complete with everything you need to install it yourself and includes: 1-indoor remote, 1-outdoor remote, 1-12 volt drive battery, 1- 120 adapter with 12' cord, 3- different sets of mounting brackets, 1-set of easy to follow instructions 

Convert virtually any sliding patio door into a motorized remote control entrance with an Automatic Sliding Patio Door System! This system comes with 2 remotes that can be hand held or wall-mounted and a self-charging battery back-up ensuring use during power outages. Optional keypads are available for external access. Works with any doors that slide on the inside of the patio door frame. From the inside looking out, determine if you need the left- or right-hand unit. Choose #3180L for doors with the handle on the left side of the door, or #3180R if the handle is on the right. Please note that the Doormate is not suitable for patio door systems that have the sliding door on the outside of the patio door frame.

THE PET PROX  (must be used with DOORMATE)

  The PET PROX option utilizes a small transmitter/sensor unit that is installed on the wall near the sliding patio door.
  When a Pet wearing a magnetic collar tag approaches the door The PET PROX senses the magnet tag and transmits a signal to the DOORMATE which opens the door and then closes it.
  Works with any size pet
  No special training required
  Eliminates worry of uninvited pests
  Installs easily, requires no cutting holes into walls or doors.
  Does not permit rodents or other animals into your home (unless they are wearing a collar tag).

Keyless Collar Tags Give all your pets independent access in and out of the home with additional keyless collar tags. Used in conjunction with the Pet Prox. (package of two)
Pet Prox - Proximity Sensor
Offers hands free opening within a programmable range.  Simply attach the keyless tag to your pet's collar and when your pet approaches the door from either the inside or out, the keyless tag activates the Doormate and your patio door automatically.  Keyless tags can also be affixed to wheelchair, walkers, etc. (includes two keyless tags).
